"This Is Why We Are The Drunks"Filth - Submachine Split 7"
So this was a request. Submachine's 2nd release, Filth's last.
I'll probably offend some people I know when I say this, but this is probably my favorite Submachine stuff. Even though Greg wasn't playing in Submachine at the time - I was in a band with Greg for awhile (BGA) and he is arguably the best drummer I've ever played with... They certainly got more solid as time passed and recorded better songs, but there's a raw quality to this...
The Filth stuff seems to have stood the test of time better than the rest of their stuff. You tell me.

does anyone know pressing info on this record?
As far as I know, the art you see here is from the first press - The copy I have is definitely a later press, xeroxed cover on heavy yellow stock. CI records #007.5. There's a phone number on the back of the record, but I doubt that's still good - Sorry I can't tell you more, beyond that the singer from Violent Society either ran CI or was connected with it - or maybe I'm thinking of the Angry, Young and Poor store (if that's even what it was called) - I dunno, East PA North of city hall in Philly was never my strong point, even if I did grow up in Bethlehem/Allentown (kinda).
