MK Ultra / Seein' Red - Split LP
This record I passed on time and again when it was readily available. And then I saw MK Ultra at a More Than Music fest in, like '98 (Remember Assuck played on a front lawn because the stage was too high at the Newport? Remember? This was the fest where I found out that HHIG was actually stuffed full of awesome. And Los Crudos cancelled. Boringest Dillinger 4 show EVER) and the singer ended the set by jumping into the crowd feet first, like he was doing the f ing luge or something. Did I mention that Ebro from Charles Bronson played drums in this band? Killer, killer, ripping shit. The Seein Red tracks are kind of muddy sounding, which might be the rip - I'm almost positive this is a Vinyl rip, so... Anyway, you get alot more than what you pay for in any event, so long as you get this now!
If anyone has a copy of this they want to get rid of let me know, or at least tip me to the ebay auction, ok?

Yeah... I know about the CD.
This is probably the most douchebagginest statement I'll ever make here, but straight up and down, the only CDs I buy are blanks. Vinyl only here baby. I'll happily support any (well, not ANY...) artist that keeps their vinyl in print, otherwise I need my cash money to eat.
I know there isn't much money in pressing a record vs. pressing a cd, I'm just not interested in cds as a product - To me, settling for buying a record I want on cd is like going to a restaurant and settling for paying twenty bucks for a nice xeroxed picture of a steak. Twenty bucks is alot of money to me, but I'll give it up for the product I want, and that product is the real analog deal. Period.
All that said, however, good lookin out. You didn't know I was a vinyl snob, so I'm not berating you or anything. Do appreciate the heads up and I'm sure there are some people around here that will follow that link on down to Interpunk. But for me, I'm still waiting for ebay and my bank account to make a convergence on this one...
hey i posted this on the other guys blog too...i still have copies of this record if any one wants to buy one. post your email.
shit yeah! dmitrimonro@gmail.com - let me know how much you want, what form you want it in (cash, check, money order, paypal, etc)and where to send it.
If you feel like it you can post all that info here - It will still get forwarded to my email and it'll save me the time of reposting it so that other vinyl snobs like myself can skip a step and go straight to the source.
Thanks!
cool, i emailed you the info. thanks.
